Barefoot Running
Barefoot running is exactly as it sounds. It allows the soles of your feet, as well as the muscles, bones, tendons, and supporting structures of your feet to be engaged when you run without shoes. Most barefoot runners change their stride from a heel strike to a mid foot strike, dispersing the impact across the ball and heel of the foot. To protect against debris and abrasions, there is minimalistic footwear you can use.
