Just received a new Mtn. Bike Frame from Marin. I have been waiting anxiously for this frame because my current Marin Bike is sized large, and I needed an XL. The XL was not available when I got my first Mount Vision Quad XC in early 2007. I thought I would take a second to talk about what an incredible ride this full suspension bike offers. See the following: - The Quad XC has a very progressive feel throughout the whole range of travel on the Fox RP23 rear suspension.
- The suspension adapts very quickly to all trail conditions. You can be coming off stutter bumps into a rock garden with ease.
- The rear wheel tracks fantastically over small hits.
- You feel very little bob while pedaling, and the overall traction is excellent.
- I have yet to bottom out the rear suspension; however, I am not a super aggressive rider. I like to finesse the trail rather than straight-line it.
Enjoy the trails and stop by a Sport Chalet to check out Marin sometime... Paul |
